Where can I park?
Parking for the Feis is at Gate 1 on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition, 1761 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA. This is the exclusive entrance to the Feis by car. Parking is located adjacent to the dance competition venue. Parking is free to all visitors, guests, competitors. The gate opens at 8:00 am – parking attendants will direct you where to go. The Feis area will not open until 8:30 am.

Can I bring a pop up tent?
If you wish to use a pop up tent, parking attendants will direct you to one specific area where they are allowed.

Is there seating?
Seating is limited inside for parents/guardians. You may bring lawn chairs to sit outside.

How do I get my competitor number?
Dancers will need to bring their competitor number with them to the Feis; they will not be provided. Log into feisweb.com, click Lúnasa Feis, click number card menu, click dancer’s name and print.

When does the Feis start?
The Feis area opens at 8:30 am. All stages start at 9:00 am. Please check in 15 minutes before start time. All start times are approximate – be ready to dance before the scheduled start time. All competitions will dance two at a time, except prebeginner and champ sets.

How do I keep up with the schedule during the day?
In order to keep things running smoothly, please keep an eye on the Irish Cultural Center’s Twitter handle @ICCWNE and #LunasaFeis for live updates on scheduling, current comps and awards, as well as announcements over the sound system on location.

Where do I see awards results?
Grade awards will be posted. Champ awards will be announced in the awards area. Champs please wear full costume for awards. Per CLRG rules, blackout attire is permitted and dancers age 14 and older must wear black tights of a denier not less than 70%.

Can I take video of the dancers?
There is no video recording allowed at the competition.

Can I buy food at the Feis?
A food truck will be available on-site. Storrowton Tavern, an 1800’s-era New England family restaurant, and an open air Beer Garden, are also located on the Eastern States grounds within a short walk of the dance venue. Both are open during the Feis.

Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes. Coolers are allowed but must be kept at individual cars and tents. No outside alcohol is permitted.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are not permitted – for safety, please leave your pet at home. Service animals are welcome.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Current state guidelines do not require masks, but they are strongly encouraged indoors when you cannot distance by at least 3 feet. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided.

Can I smoke at the Feis?
Smoking is not permitted on the grounds.

Admission is open to the public free of charge.

How can I support the Feis or become a business or individual sponsor?
Preserving the Irish heritage of dance at the Lúnasa Feis is a significant financial undertaking by the Irish Cultural Center of Western New England. Sponsorship donations are welcome and accepted at sites set up on Feis day. Businesses and individuals interested in providing sponsorship for the Lúnasa Feis are encouraged to call the ICC’s Advancement Director at 413-333-4951.
